Ministry Services

As a longtime spiritual seeker, with a desire to be a spiritual leader and guide, I was ultimately led to ordination as an Interfaith Minister at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City.

My ordination allows me to develop sacred space by respecting and honoring all spiritual and religious traditions. (I was ordained in June 2020 over Zoom in my bedroom… Yes, remember those pandemic years?)

My ministry has evolved over the last few years. Also at the height of the pandemic, I created a Sunday evening community of women called “Circle of Calm.” It is 30 minutes of music/videos/poems, sharing and prayers. Prayers of thanksgiving and those for strength and energy are part of our Sunday evenings.

Officiating at weddings is one of my favorite experiences as a minister. It is a privilege to plan a ceremony that reflects the special relationship the couple have developed which has led them to celebrate their commitment with family and friends. With the knowledge of ritual and the tradition of many spiritual paths, I can help design a ceremony that truly encompasses their own belief system.

Custom Memorials

While in seminary, people used to ask what I would do after I was ordained.  I would answer that I was “expecting the unexpected.” Well, the unexpected happened a few years later when I was asked to officiate a memorial celebration for a horse named Grace. I loved every minute of the preparation and the ceremony itself. Grace’s soul sister, Jennifer, was concerned that no one would come. Over 30 people came to remember and celebrate her dear companion.
