Career Coaching

For the better part of 22 years I have met with college students and alumni. Each person has their own unique story and the best parts of my days have been to help connect people with their stories.

My career coaching style is not about matching a job to a person, rather it involves opening a door through discussion, assessment and reflection to guide individuals to discover their gifts. People transform as they move through each step in their lives.

A holistic career counseling approach has been an important component of how I work with my clients. One cannot talk to a person solely about careers – those decisions are tied to so many variables. Interests, values, competencies, personality, geography, motivation, and past experiences all inform a person’s career choice. These are not separate considerations. I meet people where they are and listen closely to provide practical information and considerations for their individual situations.

My work is supported by a Master’s Degree in College Counseling and a certification as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner. I have extensive experience in presenting career development topics such as a self-assessment, career exploration, decision-making, job search, resume and interview preparation, LinkedIn renovation and effective communication in accepting and declining job offers.

You are invited to a complimentary 30-minute session to explore your next steps. Schedule a Zoom appointment here.

I am one of the lucky ones. My “story” has led me into a life that allows me to apply my own experience and education to guide others; for this I am most grateful.
